Chia Seeds Curd Rice|NO rice

Chia seeds are these days very popular and known as a superfood. These are small seeds which can be mixed with smoothies or practically anything you wish. I love to add my chia seeds in my batter, breads and cakes as well. In fact soaked chia seeds swell up and can be used as egg replacer as well. Its also known as Chia eggs then :)

This is another savory version of it.  Honestly chia seeds has carbs but its only dietary Fiber so technically net carb is zero!!! Can you believe it. 
This version if chia seeds is a mock of Southern Indian curd rice which is very popular

Do try this out. It fills your soul. I simply love it



Ingredients

Chia seeds
Yogurt

 For Tempering
Mustard seeds
Chilli
Peanuts
Curry leaves
Fenugreek Seeds
Salt

For Garnish  ( optional )
Cilantro
Pomegranate seeds




Procedure

Soak Chia Seeds in water overnight, so they swell up enough. You could soak and keep it refrigerated for a week , so that you can make it instantly anytime you want.



Add yogurt to it and mix well.


In another small pan , add some ghee / clarified butter or any oil of your choice.

Once the ghee is warm enough then add all the ingredients for seasoning and let it crack a little.

Pour it over you chia yogurt mixture. Add little Salt.



You could garnish it with come cilantro and pomegranate seeds
