Rose White Chocolate
Spring is here ! N roses are blooming now. Last year is truly when I started to really use my backyard to its potential. The bushes were blooming n then the flowers would dry off ! That's when I started to use my rose petals in several ways..Gul khand, rose water.. but thats for another post.
This year the first rose bloom coincided with the Spring break and I could not wait to use it :)
My son is as foodie as it can it and he really wanted to make something in kitchen. And few days ago I saw a Holi special white chocolate feed on my Instagram and this thing immediately came over my mind. As if all the stars were aligned!
Such a quick 5 min recipe and rest is some freezing time.
White chocolate chips
Rose petals( I used fresh)
Fennel Seeds ( Optional)
Milk few drops
Procedure
1: Wash, Pat dry and chop the rose petals and keep it aside
2: Melt the chocolate ( I used Microwave..) 30 secs stir + 30 sec and stir
Took about 1 min 30 sec for me
Time will vary based on quantity, size and type of microwave.
Once chocolate is melted, Add the chopped Rose petals and crushed Fennel seeds( Fennel seeds really elevated the taste and added that nice freshness in the flavor) this combination can never go wrong!!
Add few drops of Milk if you feel its thick. The consistency should be spreadable.
Quickly spread it on a Silicon mat or Parchment paper or Greased Plate.
Keep it refrigerated at least for 30 mins or until it solidifies.
Enjoy them!! Super delicious..You can keep them in air tight container..But I am sure they wont last long :)
Do try it out and like my page if your are inspired. Thanks!
