Patal Alu bhaji

Potato Sabji is one of the most loved Sabji for every household, so does the variation. I myself have so many different variations.. But this particular one of close to my heart. Quick , easy, and no need to even boil the potatoes before you make it. I personally feel, this way adds much more flavor to potatoes. Ingredients   2 large potatoes  Mustard seeds Green chilli Curry leaves Cumin seeds Oil / clarified butter Water Cilantro Turmeric powder Asafoetida (hing) Procedure Wash , peel and chop potatoes in medium cubes and keep it aside. Take a wok and add little oil to it.You may use ghee instead. It  will add to that nice aroma. Once oil is hot add the spices as seen below . Add Turmeric, potatoes , salt and give it a good mix.  Add sufficient water and close the lid and let it cook for 10-12 mins until potatoes are tender. Once done add chopped cilantro.  Serve it with puri, thepla or even bread/ hard b
