Meetha Pan Kheer| BeetalLeaf Rice Pudding

Do you Like Paan ..the famous Indian mouth freshener. I love it.. specially the Meetha Pan... 
Kheer/Pudding is the most popular dessert and everybody loves it. Kids and adults age No bar! It's a very very easy recipe that you can check out my another post on Quick Instant pot Kheer / rice pudding.

This is a new variety that I tried the other day because I had some beetle leaves which is the Pan leaves at home and I really wanted to try this for a long time. It kept lingering on my head and finally gave it a shot! Absolutely delicious and bursting fresh flavors in your mouth. Try it out and do share your feedback!!

Meetha Paan Kheer / Rice Pudding

Procedure
1:  Wash and rinse the rice.
2: Add little water to instant pot so that nothing sticks to the bottom
3:  Add milk, rice  and then shut the instant pot sealing the valve and Press porridge mode is automatically set on 20 minutes on 4.
Wait until the pressure release naturally and open it stir in the sugar add some nuts 

Alternatively If you do Not have Instant Pot, Just make it on your stove top.  Boil Milk and Rice until Rice is tender and milk is reduces to 3/4. Add sugar once done and then proceed to next step 4

4: Take Pan leaves , fennel seeds add little milk and puree it nice paste.
Add it to Kheer, add some desiccated coconut, rose syrup or better if you have Gulkhand, tutti frutti to it.  

 CHILL! CHILL! CHILL.. I cannot stress it enough how important it is to Chill it on Fridge for couple of hours for flavors to grow
give that fresh flavors in the mouth!
