Veggie Quinoa Pulav

Quinoa is very nutritional grain. Great source of dietary fiber, protein and iron. As a family we try different ways to incorporate it in our diet. Quinoa Pulav / Upma is surely our fav way. Its fun and customizable to your taste.
Do try it out ! 





Ingredients:
1 Cup Quinoa

Seasoning:
Oil
 Salt
Cumin Seeds
Mustard Seeds
Curry leaves
Turmeric
Chilli powder
Lemon Juice
Freshly Chopped Cilantro


Veggies of your choice
Chopped Cabbage, Tomato, Bell pepper, chopped ginger

Total time: 25 mins


Procedure:

Wash the quinoa well. Add water and cook it with excess water on open flame until they become translucent. It might take about 8-10 mins to get there. Remove/Drain excess water and keep it aside.


Take little oil in a skillet. Once its hot add Cumin seeds, Mustard seeds, curry leaves, and add veggies and saute it on medium flame. 
Add Tumeric, chilli powder and mix well.

Now , add the pre- cooked Quinoa to it , add salt, cilantro and dash of lemon juice to it. Mix well. 
Cover the pan and cook for another 5-7 mins. 


Tadaaa... flavorful quinoa pulav is ready!!!
