Farali/Upvas Dosa

Dosa is a popular South Indian delicacy made from rice and lentil which needs no introduction. However,  typical fasting days you can't really eat it, so how about trying out Dosa that you can actually eat during fasting.

Even if you are not fating, this is such a refreshing change, its easy to cook, crispy, no fermentation required..Do try it out and let me know

Ingredients

1 cup sama/ vari
1/2 cup Sabudana
1/2 cup yogurt
Water as needed

Procedure

Wash Sama grain and sabudana throughly. Add yogurt and little water enough and soak it for at-least 5 hrs.

Grind into a fine batter. Use water sparingly. Batter should be flowing consistency. You could use it immediately,  but resting it for about 1 hr at least will give better results.

Now heat the pan. Apply some oil. Spread one ladder quickly n let it cook the way you normally do.

Serve it will chutney of your choice to go with it.
